These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Baktun Studio LLC (“Baktun Studio,” “we,” “us,” or “our”), the operator of LineBreak. LineBreak is accessible at linebreakapp.com and linebreak.dev.
By creating an account, downloading the application, or otherwise using any part of the LineBreak service, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (or the age of majority in your jurisdiction), that you have the legal authority to enter into these Terms, and that you accept them in full.
If you are using LineBreak on behalf of an organization, you represent and warrant that you have authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
LineBreak is a governed AI development environment: a native desktop application that runs on your computer and drives an AI agent through a structured software development lifecycle. The service includes:
LineBreak does not process your source code, prompts, or project artifacts on our servers. The agent runs locally on your machine. Your code never leaves your network unless you choose to use a cloud-hosted LLM provider, in which case traffic goes directly from your machine to that provider.
You must create an account to use LineBreak. You may sign in using your GitHub or Google account via OAuth. By signing in, you authorize us to receive your email address, display name, and profile information from the OAuth provider.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@linebreakapp.com if you believe your account has been compromised.
You may not share your account or create accounts on behalf of others without authorization. We reserve the right to terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
Subject to your compliance with these Terms and payment of applicable fees, Baktun Studio grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to:
This license does not include the right to: sublicense, resell, or distribute the application; reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the application except as permitted by applicable law; use the service to build a competing product; or remove or alter any proprietary notices in the application.
Free tier. LineBreak offers a permanently free tier that includes the full local agent, all pipeline phases, and all approval gates. The free tier requires you to provide your own LLM API key. No credit card is required.
Paid tiers. Pro, Agency, Team, and Enterprise tiers are in development and will launch with pricing as published at linebreakapp.com/#pricing. When paid tiers become available, subscription fees will be billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis via Stripe. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as expressly stated in these Terms.
Taxes. Prices do not include applicable taxes. You are responsible for any sales, use, GST, VAT, or similar taxes applicable to your purchase.
Free access period. During the current free access period, all signed-in users receive full access to the product at no charge. We will provide at least 14 days’ notice before transitioning to paid tiers.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access immediately if we determine, in our sole discretion, that you have violated this acceptable use policy.
You retain full ownership of all code, prompts, project artifacts, and other content you create using LineBreak (“Your Content”). Baktun Studio does not claim any intellectual property rights in Your Content.
Because LineBreak runs locally on your machine, Your Content is stored on your computer and in your git repositories, not on Baktun Studio servers. You are solely responsible for backing up and protecting Your Content.
By using LineBreak, you grant Baktun Studio a limited, non-exclusive license to process the limited account and telemetry data described in our Privacy Policy solely for the purposes of operating and improving the service.
LineBreak integrates with third-party services including LLM providers (Anthropic, OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, and others), version control platforms (GitHub, GitLab, Azure DevOps, Bitbucket), and issue trackers (Jira, Linear, Azure Boards). Your use of these integrations is subject to the respective third-party terms of service.
Baktun Studio is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or performance of any third-party service, and is not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of third-party integrations.
LineBreak and all associated software, design, text, graphics, and other materials are the intellectual property of Baktun Studio LLC or its licensors, protected by copyright, trademark, and other applicable laws. “LineBreak” and the LineBreak logo are trademarks of Baktun Studio LLC.
Nothing in these Terms grants you any right, title, or interest in the LineBreak name, trademarks, or other intellectual property beyond the limited license described in Section 4.
If you are an Enterprise customer and have executed a separate Enterprise Agreement with Baktun Studio, the confidentiality terms of that agreement govern. In the absence of a separate agreement, each party agrees to hold in confidence any non-public information disclosed by the other party that is identified as confidential or that a reasonable person would understand to be confidential, and to use such information only in connection with the use or provision of LineBreak.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, LINEBREAK IS PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE,” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. BAKTUN STUDIO DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR FREE OF HARMFUL COMPONENTS, OR THAT ANY DEFECTS WILL BE CORRECTED.
LINEBREAK IS AN AI-ASSISTED DEVELOPMENT TOOL. THE AGENT MAY PRODUCE INCORRECT, INCOMPLETE, OR INSECURE CODE. YOU ARE SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR REVIEWING, TESTING, AND APPROVING ALL AGENT OUTPUT BEFORE USE IN PRODUCTION. THE APPROVAL GATES IN LINEBREAK ARE TOOLS TO ASSIST YOUR REVIEW PROCESS; THEY DO NOT GUARANTEE THE CORRECTNESS OR SECURITY OF AGENT OUTPUT.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT WILL BAKTUN STUDIO, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR LICENSORS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, BUSINESS, OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH THESE TERMS OR YOUR USE OF LINEBREAK, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.
BAKTUN STUDIO’S TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ALL CLAIMS ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR LINEBREAK WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO BAKTUN STUDIO IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM, OR (B) ONE HUNDRED US DOLLARS ($100).
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities, so some of the above limitations may not apply to you.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Baktun Studio and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or relating to: (a) your use of LineBreak in violation of these Terms; (b) Your Content; (c) your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights; or (d) your gross negligence or willful misconduct.
These Terms remain in effect until terminated. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us at support@linebreakapp.com.
We may suspend or terminate your account and access to LineBreak at any time for any reason, including if we believe you have violated these Terms. We will endeavor to provide reasonable notice where practical.
Upon termination, your license to use LineBreak ends immediately. Sections 7, 9, 11, 12, 13, and 16 survive termination.
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we will update the effective date at the top of this page and notify you via the in-app update banner or email at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Your continued use of LineBreak after the effective date of the updated Terms constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you must stop using LineBreak and may terminate your account.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of LineBreak that cannot be resolved informally will be submitted to binding arbitration administered by JAMS under its Streamlined Arbitration Rules and Procedures, with proceedings conducted in English. The arbitration will take place in Wilmington, Delaware, or remotely if mutually agreed. Nothing in this section prevents either party from seeking injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction.
YOU AGREE THAT ANY DISPUTE RESOLUTION PROCEEDINGS WILL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT IN A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.
Entire agreement. These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any Enterprise Agreement you have executed, constitute the entire agreement between you and Baktun Studio regarding LineBreak and supersede all prior agreements.
Severability. If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, that provision will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it enforceable, and the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
Waiver. Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not constitute a waiver of that right or provision.
Assignment. You may not assign or transfer these Terms or your rights under them without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Force majeure. Neither party will be liable for any failure or delay in performance due to causes beyond its reasonable control, including natural disasters, government actions, internet outages, or third-party service failures.
